The ‘dry snorkel’ ( …
has some serious disadvantages, and I would not recommend it for novice snorkelers, or anyone snorkeling in the ocean. A snorkel with baffling at the top and a purge valvue at the bottom is quite easy to purge.
The ‘dry snorkel’ (As I ume your talking about instead of a plugged snorkel which wouldn’t allow you to breathe
(I have seen a good number of people panic because of the mechanics of a dry snorkel, including semi-experienced divers)
