How do ppl with contacts snorkel or swim in oceans/lakes?
My fiance and I want to go snorkeling in San Diego but he says he can’t get in the water with his contacts. What are some ways around this? He can’t see without them so this is not an option and idk if glasses would get in the way of the goggles. Thanks!
i surf every day with my contacts in. you get used to it. just take them out right after, put on a fresh pair so your eyes get a break, and let the salty ones soak overnight before putting them back in. if you’re Snorkeling you’ve got a mask to keep the water out. i’ve also heard of prescription masks for diving but i imagine that costs a fair bit.

Why doesn’t he wear goggles over his contacts? Goggles make a complete seal around the face, so the water will not get into his eyes.

you obviously have not realised that you can get goggles and most importantly dive masks with corrective lenses in them
ask at a good dive shop .
