My Land Rover Defender 110 Tribute
My tribute to the Land Rover. Celebrating 60 years in 2008, they have given us so much, and will continue to give loyal service to future generations.
WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY
This is my 1993 Land Rover Defender 200tdi 110 station wagon. A beautiful truck who has taken me places I never thought I would have ventured.
It is mostly a standard vehicle, but i’ve added a few things to make her a great offroader, perfect for an adventure. The vehicle’s kit includes -
a bullbar, a safari Snorkel, a set of Old Man Emu Nitrocharger shocks, a Long Ranger 120L fuel tank, a set of Goodyear 265/75/R16’s, a Bearmach rear wheel carrier, rear bumperettes, a towbar, a set of IPF driving lights, a UHF radio, MP3 CD player, and a 12v solar panel for battery charging.
This is my Land Rover…
Filmed on a Canon HV30 and edited on Avid Liquid 7. Audio recorded by a Rode Videomic. Backing music by Smartsound Software Inc.

The Land Rover is a …
The Land Rover is a Defender and Series are legend, purely british and made in Solihull - it’s something made in England that we can be proud of for once! No other 4×4 comes close and these things are made to last - you can’t say that about a Land Cr****r.

If you don’t really …
If you don’t really know what you are talking about you’re better keeping quiet or else you look thick. Land Rover or Landcruiser the two best the world over, sure Toyota is more popular in Oz but doesn’t make it better. I’ve had experience of both and I would take either. As for Patrol now your’re talking soft. They seem popular in Oz but thats about it.
August 28th, 2009 at 8:36 am
Get a Land Cruiser …
Get a Land Cruiser or a Patrol you ing slag. Land rovers are unreliable and soft.Fuck off mate why didnt u put in low? Everyone else here who likes land rovers deserves to be shot in the head many many times repeatedly. My land cruiser could beat your little land rover with a broken intercooler mate. .

Land Rover …
Land Rover Defenders are the best off roaders not like the stupid soft roaders they make these days we have stupid pointless things like the Land Rover Discovery, freelanders 1 & 2 and Range Rover Sports.
Defenders RULE!!!

I haven’t done any …
I haven’t done any thing to the engine but I’ve only had her 6 years. I think the previous owner had some work done on the fuel pump but I don’t know any more than that. She runs and starts sweet that’s all that matters.
The towbar is not a british LR product, ours are nick named “ploughs” because of how far they hang down. Yours looks very neat, I would be interested if you could tell me any more about it.
August 28th, 2009 at 8:36 am
Thanks mate. That’s …
Thanks mate. That’s incredible! 350000k’s! Has your engine been overhauled yet? My towbar is a standard LR Defender model that I believe came with the vehicle. It’s got plenty of strong bolting points for it’s 4000kg rated towing capacity!

Wonderful tribute …
Wonderful tribute to an amazeing vehicle. My 1990 110tdi Hard top is still going strong with 220,000 MILES (about 350,000 K’s) on the clock. Doesn’t look as straight as yours, but I love her. Who made your tow bar? It looks good.
