Where is the best place to snorkel on my own in Barbados?
I am traveling to Barbados in July. We are considering Turtle Bay resort. We would like to Snorkel in shallow water preferably where we can see a real ship wreck. We would also like to rent a car or jeep. Has anyone done anything similar to this that can give me some advice?
You can rent a car through Courtesy Rent a Car. As for snorkelling you can visit these sites. S S Stavronikita is the only ship wreck we have.

The only plane crash we had was the Cubana Airlines and that was way off Barbados.

Apparently there's sort of ship wreck or wreck or maybe some scam that beach bums on the west coast claim to show tourist for a fee. I have never seen such.
There was a plane crash a few yrs ago i'm not sure if the wreckage was ever moved. Maybe HF could contribute more on that because i know very little about it.
To rent a car i would STRONGLY ADVISE you to pay the extra fee for insurance.
