Pics of the Kiwi Angler

I need to know how much more stable it is versus a regular kayak (can I stand on it for example?). I also need to know how much speed I will sacrifice by going to this design. What I want to do is attach an anchor to it and use it for Snorkeling, diving, setting up crab traps, spear fishing, etc. I will be launching it into a canal that eventually connects to the ocean.

here are reviews from Kiwi Angler owners

I’m trying to remember the titles of two childrens’ books I remember reading at primary school in about 1988?

Monday, November 2nd, 2009

These books were nicely illustrated and told stories in which the reader was cast as protagonist (though there was no ‘fighting fantasy’ choice element as in "turn to page 10 to go North, turn to page 11 to go South"". Each page featured some sort of puzzle and there were common puzzle themes running throught the book. One I recall as being about a funfair, and some sort of evil plot involving poison gas hidden in light bulbs (one of the puzzles running through that book involved spotting these bulbs). The other book, in the same series, had a fantasy setting and the only puzzle I remember involved a question of where a character could hide having escaped from a castle into the surrounding moat, the answer being that he should use some reeds to form a Snorkel to breathe through.

Hi!
You may try the forum links below , I hope you find your book – good luck .

Navigator of the Seas: points to person who answers ALL questions?

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

I am going on a cruise to cozumel and belize city in 2 weeks and its through the navigator of the seas (rccl) i have been on a cruise before, but on NCL’s Jewel, which is freestyling, and i was wondering:
1)what the difference is between the formal/set dinners and freestyling.. also
2) how is "teen scene"? do many come in march, if so do they choose to go to the teen club?
3) ports of call and excursions booked-dolphin greeting (CZL), Snorkel (BEL)
4) Spa/pool area
5) ATTIRE< ATTIRE<ATTIRE: does a 17 yearold wear sundresses the whole time (for dinners) and then the cocktail dress for formal night??

i will give 10 points to the person who can best answer ALL 5 of my questions

1. Free style eating is any restaurant at any time. You just have to make reservations. This style is only found on NCL. Royal Carribean has assigned dining. You will dine at the same time each night with the same people. However if you do not want to dine in the dining room there is always a buffett, and the food on Royal Caribbean is wonderful even at the buffett. The buffett has more than 1 type of food. There is asian, italian, mexican etc.
2. I think March is school break, if that is the case there will be plenty of teens there. yes there is a teens club it is optional. There is a teen lounge area for dancing and mingling.
3. Belize is great for snorkling, dolphin greeting is also good. Cozumel is also good for snorkling. I don’t know what other ports you are calling upon.
4.Large pool area with two or four spas. Buffett is only steps away so you can take your lunch there.
5. You can wear any casual attire for dinner but no jeans, shorts, sandles or tank tops for guys. Formal night you can wear a really nice dress. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a cocktail dress. Just look really nice!
You will have a great time on this ship. You will even enjoy the shows. Entertainment is geared for all ages.
Have fun!

Calorie Burning Exercises?

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009

Well im going to be setting up a 1 week plan to lose some weight and don’t worry im getting the nutrition part down but i would like to know some good exercises to lose calories fast… it can be anything from sprinting up a hill to laps around the track with a Snorkel on.

I just need stuff that can be done outside as i don’t have access to a gym and if i need to buy something just put out the avg price of it and i’ll se if i can get it.

Thank you for any help.
note i can take 5 hour workouts im not looking for an easy way im just looking for what yall found effective like i’ve heard that sprinting for for 30 min can burn more cals then a 1 hour jog certain things like that.

There’s a great article that talks about the best calorie-burning exercises. The basic list is walking, jogging, swimming, jumping rope, roller-blading, rowing and general sports like football and tennis. Biking and hiking are also good and interval training is by far the best (interval training is when alternate between periods of high-intensity exercises and low-intensity exercises in the same workout). Hope this helps.

My fiance wants a tropical honeymoon but I don’t?

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

My fiance LOVES the ocean and fishing and has his mind and heart set to go some where tropical so that he can fish and scuba dive, etc. The problem is that though the beach is fun and I enjoy it every once and a while, we ONLY go to San Diego for vacations which consist of fishing & the beach. I can get drastically sea sick when I’m on a boat and only enjoy fishing for a limited 2hrs then I’m completely over it. Then on top of that I have full blown panic attacks when I Snorkel or get around sea weed so I don’t know if I am going to be able to handle scuba diving. I really wanted to go on a cruise to like Alaska or travel around the country seeing national landmarks but he says "that’s something you do when you have kids and go on a family vacation". I really don’t know what to do. Does anybody have any suggestions of places we can go to make each of us happy? I can deal with going somewhere tropical as long as I’m not stuck on a stupid boat for 8hrs! Please, anything will help!

You two need to sit down and work out a compromise. That’s part of being mature adults.

Most important Off-Roading modifications for Jeep Wrangler?

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

I own a 97 TJ Wrangler Sahara Edition. I have all of these things already added from the original: 3.5" Rubicon Short arm suspension, 1.5" body lift kit, a Warn Rock Crawler front bumper, rear bumper and tire carrier, a couple extra lights, 35" mickey thompson MTZs on MT classic wheels.

I need to know what to do next. I know i need to get a winch and add to the front bumper, but should i just get the warn winch mount plate and grill guard or should I get a whole new bumper. If so what bumper do you recommend. Im some what hesitant to get a new bumper because my front and back currently match.

Is a warn winch really worth getting over another decent brand? I only wheel every other weekend (at most) so i don’t use it all the time.

Im also thinking about larger fender flares because i have wide tires so i get a lot of mud and water and rocks kicked up. What do you think about this?

Is there anything else that is important or nice to get? For example a dual battery set up, exhaust system, lockers, Snorkel, seat covers, roof rack, steering stabilizers?? and so on for all you educated folk.

Please keep in mind I do drive this at least 15 miles a day so im not going to get more of a lift or larger tires. And for ideas sakes money is not an issue but if you have any money saving tips let me know. Thanks so much!

Practice is the best Component to add.
If you are going to be in a situation where you need a winch, the last thing on your mind should be whether or not your bumpers match.Cuz they will probably look like crap at that point.
That being said, for the cosmetic conscious who expect to commute in the vehicle they destroy on weekends, they make gas-powered winched that attach to the tree with a rope or sling, and pull you out with a cable. These don’t have to be mounted anywhere, or displayed for thieves on your bumper.
The other thing you should look into is a Detroit Locker. Best investment. I believe you will be able to do 95% of your off-roading without engaging 4wd, if you have a Detroit Locker. Get the electric one, so you can go back to regular Differential on the street or tight trails.

Can anyone find me some info on these rims please?

Dodge Ram R/T
The Dodge Ram R/T starts off with a 2009 Ram Sport with a 380 horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, a 4.10 gear and a high stall converter, which rockets the truck to impressive times. With this blank canvas, Mopar Underground created a Dodge Challenger inspired version of the Dodge Ram. On the performance side is a Mopar cold-air intake kit to keep the engine breathing and a Mopar dual exhaust system with a performance rumble. The exterior is painted classic B5 Blue, with a Mopar dual-Snorkel aluminum hood and carbon-fiber accent stripes. A dropped chassis is possible with a concept Mopar air suspension kit. The look is made more evident by the body-kit which consists of sill and box pieces, finished up with a chin spoiler. For wheels, concept Mopar 22-inch Alcoas wrapped in 285/45R22s in front and 305/40R22s in the rear. A Mopar hard tonneau cover and a unique integrated spoiler are combined with the Mopar bed mat showing an ambient under-rail LED lighting system. The interior features Katzkin leather seats with body-color stitching to match the instrument panel and steering wheel. A set of Mopar pedals are installed, adding to the performance look and capability.

Can anyone find me some info on these rims please? I’ve tried everywhere. I’ve googled and sent to the Alcoa site but I can’t find anything and I really like these rims. (they’re the ones on the blue ram in case the picture doesn’t show up and you can’t find it on the website.)

It is a concept an idea someone has they do not exists.
